TOWARDS AN ARCHITECTURE OF GOODNESS
Shirish Beri’s deep search for meaning in life has made him explore various mediums of understanding and expression such as painting, poetry, philosophy, deep ecology and extensive travelling. Through his work, he probes the multisensory and the immeasurable dimension of space while trying to evoke a reflective pause amidst today’s clutter and background noise.
It was amazing to hear such a profound architect sharing his thoughts on the importance of the intangible in life as well in architecture. When an acclaimed architect like him shares his story of staying close to the nature and getting inspired by it in his creations, it is hard to resist the thought of working with and for the nature. He surely has inspired many, especially the young women architects and designers present at the event to listen more to their heart and choose their work accordingly.
