Alongside MATECIA, a slew of events was also organized including WADE ASIA, world’s largest Award, Conference and Networking platform for Women in Design & Architecture. Women in Art, Engineering, Construction, Product Design and Sustainability which saw close to 250 participants from all over India. WADE ASIA saw the attendance of almost 3000-4000 architects during its 3 days.
In addition, the second edition of India Interior Retailing became one of the largest connecting ground for brands and B2B retail businesses, like dealers, distributors & showrooms for building materials and interior products. During the three days of the conference, 1200+ delegates, 60+ speakers and 14+ knowledge sessions were conducted.
Alongside, there was a Material & Technology Conference for two days that saw 800+ delegates, 50+ speakers and curators who visited during the 10+ sessions.
This year, loads of new entrants are being introduced including a special dedicated furniture and hardware pavilion.
MATECIA FURNITURE & HARDWARE PAVILION
The Furniture Pavilion in MATECIA will see participants including major furniture brands, designers, OEMs, Hardware manufacturers & more. MATECIA 2022 took place in an area of 250000 sqft area. It was visited by buyers from 500+ cities of India and 16 other countries. 2023 would see furniture retailers and designers attending in large numbers. The idea is to bring together the furniture, hardware, lighting, and architectural products in one platform. Of the 25000+ visitors, 37.2% are architects & interior designers from all over India.
