This award is a prestigious recognition for young and upcoming architects practicing in the field of architecture and design. This award provides an unique opportunity for emerging talents to showcase their overall body of work to a wider audience, giving them the recognition and exposure they deserve. The final awardees are chosen based on their exceptional talent, creativity, and innovation demonstrated throughout their career, rather than a single project or projects. Being a young WADE awardee is a mark of excellence and sets the awardees apart as future leaders of the industry.

To be eligible for this award category, please follow the below guidelines:

• Age limit– up to 40 years as on 1st June, 2025
• Applicants must submit 3 original projects. Out of the 3 projects, 2 must be completed projects while 1 could be a future or ongoing project.
• Each project should preferably belong to a different category which would showcase your variety of work. In case you do not have projects of different categories do not worry submit what you have done so far.
• Use original photos and not 3D images. 3D images or visualizations can be used only for the future/ongoing project.
• For each Project, use a single file of A2 size in Vertical Layout (16.5 width x 23.4 height in Inches), 300 DPI resolution, PDF format, clear at 100% viewing. Entry file size can be maximum 6 MB. (Note: For 3 projects, use three individual A2 file)
• Do Not mention your name, firm name, logo, or any details in the Entry File which hints about you. Such entries will be disqualified on the spot. After you have successfully submitted your Entry, you will receive a USER ID in your email. Kindly save the USER ID for future correspondence.
• A brief information with a suitable project title, date of project completion and project category properly mentioned on top must be included in the Entry file. Refer to the sample project provided at the end of the page for clear understanding.
• You may mention about Client’s brief, objective of the design & how the objectives were achieved. You may also include about the challenges faced & how those challenges were met. Keep it brief and precise. Supporting images should be put in the same sheet with Image captions and drawings.
• By submitting the projects for the competition, you declare that these are your original work or you have made the maximum contribution to accomplish the project.
• Projects that have already won a WADE award should not be submitted again for the competition.
• Only qualified female architects and interior designers who are working as partners/ employee/ professionals for 2 years and above are eligible to apply for this category.
• Attach Declaration – If you are an employee and have completed the project for the firm/ company you are working for, a Declaration letter must be attached sharing their acceptance of your entry as well as their confirmation of your Specific contribution to the project. The file size of Declaration letter can be maximum 2 MB and in PDF format only. Declaration Letter Format given below.
